Am I obligated to obey my husband when he asks me to delay prayer until we reach our destination, knowing that the time for prayer has already begun?

Delaying a prayer beyond its prescribed time is an act of disobedience to Allah the Almighty and is impermissible, except that the Dhuhr prayer may be delayed until the time for Asr begins, and similarly for Maghrib, due to the strong opinion that its preferred time extends until just before the disappearance of twilight. As for the remaining prayers, their preferred time ends before the beginning of the time for the next prayer. Whoever delays a prayer until its preferred time has passed is sinful, unless there is a valid excuse such as sleep, forgetfulness, or menstruation. Obedience to the husband in delaying prayer is not permissible, because "There is no obedience in disobedience to Allah; obedience is only in what is good and right."
