Does conveying knowledge to others become an obligation upon the learner, even if the intention behind seeking that knowledge was for correct worship?

Whoever conceals knowledge that people need has committed a great sin, for Allah Almighty says: (Indeed, those who conceal what We sent down of clear proofs and guidance after We made it clear for the people in the Scripture - those are cursed by Allah and cursed by those who curse) [2:159], and the verse is general to every concealer. The reprehensible concealment is of two types: concealing known information when it is needed, or removing it and putting something else in its place. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever is asked about knowledge and conceals it, Allah will bridle him with a bridle of fire on the Day of Resurrection." And he said: "Convey from me, even if it is a single verse." Therefore, teaching knowledge to those who need it is an obligation, and it is among the deeds whose reward does not cease after death, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: a continuous charity, or knowledge from which benefit is gained, or a righteous child who supplicates for him."
