How can the Quranic verses that describe the stages of human creation (a drop of fluid, then a clinging form, then bones) be reconciled with the Prophetic narrations that indicate the origin of human creation and resurrection is from the "coccyx bone"? Does the removal of the coccyx contradict its role as the seed of humanity? And how does this align with modern scientific facts that indicate the primitive streak is the beginning of embryonic formation?

Muslim narrated that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "All of the son of Adam will be eaten by the earth, except for the coccyx (ʿajb al-dhanab). From it he was created, and in it he will be reassembled." This hadith does not contradict the creation of man from a sperm-drop or dust, for each stage has its beginning. The coccyx is the first thing to form in the embryo, and from it the rest of the organs develop. Modern medicine has proven that the coccyx is the fundamental component from which the embryo is structured. Many ancient commentators of Hadith also agreed that the coccyx is the first thing created in a human, and from it creation will be reassembled on the Day of Resurrection. As for the removal of the coccyx, it does not contradict the hadith, because it does not decay nor is it consumed by the earth, and from it its owner's creation will be reassembled on the Day of Resurrection.
