How can we reconcile the Quranic verses and science, which state that the beginning of human creation is a [nutfa] (sperm drop) then an [alaqa] (clot), with the prophetic hadiths that indicate that the origin of man and the beginning of his creation is from the bone of the "coccyx" [‘ajb al-dhanab]?

Allah created Adam from dust, and his progeny from a despised drop of fluid, which passes through stages (a drop of fluid, a clinging clot, a chewed lump of flesh, bones, and then He clothes the bones with flesh). The "coccyx" (عجب الذنب) is the first bone to form in a human being, and from it the rest of the bones branch out. It is also the part that remains after the body perishes, from which man will be reassembled on the Day of Resurrection. This does not contradict the beginning of creation from clay or a drop of fluid, as the intent is the primacy of formation and structure.
