How is the relinquished portion of a mother's inheritance divided: Is it distributed according to Sharia as inheritance, or equally among the man's wife and children?

The deceased mother's share transfers to her heirs after her death. If some of her heirs waive their share in favor of her son's wife or children, this is a gift from them. The distribution of this gift between the wife and the children depends on how the givers intended it to be divided. If their intention cannot be ascertained, it should be divided equally among them.
