The answer

It is permissible for fornicators who have repented to marry each other after the expiration of their respective waiting periods: the waiting period for fornication and the waiting period for divorce, provided the conditions for marriage are met.

The waiting period of the female fornicator: Its duration: Like the waiting period of a divorced woman (three menstrual cycles, or delivery if pregnant, or three months). Its start: After the last act of intercourse if there were multiple acts of intercourse; otherwise, immediately after the act of intercourse. Its overlap with the waiting period of divorce: If a divorce occurs during the waiting period for fornication, the waiting period for divorce begins, and then the remainder of the waiting period for fornication is completed.

Fornication with a married woman does not necessitate a perpetual prohibition of marriage between the two fornicators, nor does it annul her marriage to her husband. However, it is one of the gravest sins.
