Does inheriting the Noble Quran by the deceased's son count as ongoing charity for the deceased, given that it was endowed to the mosque?

Donating copies of the Noble Qur’an is an ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah), based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "…or a Mus'haf (copy of the Qur’an) he bequeathed." If the deceased’s son endows it to the mosque, it is valid and counts as an ongoing charity for his father.
