Endowing a [copy of the] Mushaf (Quran) as an ongoing charity (Sadaqah Jariyah) is permissible according to many scholars, including the four Imams. The endower is rewarded for the recitation of the Mushaf that has been endowed, and endowing a Mushaf as charity benefits the deceased.
