The answer

May Allah elevate the status of parents, for He has linked His right to theirs. Therefore, it is obligatory to honor them and treat them with kindness. Disobeying them is forbidden, and this is especially emphasized in the case of the mother, whom Allah has specifically enjoined to be treated well. What you did by expelling your mother is a grave act of disobedience. Her right does not fall away because of her injustice to you. You must repent and apologize to her, for in the pleasure of parents lies the pleasure of Allah. Your father does not have the right to prevent you from maintaining ties with your mother, and it is not permissible to obey him in this regard. Strive to honor your mother without incurring your father's displeasure, as Imam Malik advised: "Obey your father and do not disobey your mother," reconciling between them.
