Will a person be sinful and their deeds rejected if they dispute with their mother over her actions, despite honoring her, not raising their voice at her, and saying to her, "I disown you and your actions," after repeated advice?

It is not permissible to abandon one's mother, treat her poorly, or speak harshly to her. If she commits wrongdoings, you should forbid her from them with politeness and gentleness, for the rights of parents are immense. Enjoining good and forbidding evil with them differs from doing so with others. Disobeying parents is one of the gravest sins, but it does not nullify good deeds. Therefore, repent to Allah for treating your mother poorly and abandoning her, and strive to be dutiful and kind to her, for that is among the most beloved deeds to Allah and the greatest in reward.
