Am I permitted to continue my partnership in an internet café where it is difficult to control the playing of music, knowing that I prohibit browsing pornographic websites? Am I permitted to sell my share to another person or to my partner? And what is the ruling on the profits I receive?

It is permissible to sell your share in the internet cafe to someone who is diligent in enjoining good and forbidding evil. The profits earned after making an effort to prevent customers from engaging in what is forbidden are lawful, and the sin is upon them, for Allah Almighty says: "Allah does not burden a soul beyond its capacity."
