What should one who suffers from uncontrollable flatulence for varying periods do, and should she combine prayers or pray in her condition in this case?

If the worshiper is able to hold back wind to perform the prayer on time, then he must do so, even if it leads to delaying the prayer, as long as its time has not expired. However, if the emission of wind is continuous or uncontrollable, then the worshiper should perform ablution for each prayer, and what is emitted during it will not harm him, because Islamic law makes things easy for those with excuses. Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah holds the view that combining prayers with full purification is better than performing them individually with incomplete purification for those with excuses, such as one afflicted with urinary incontinence.
