Will not forgiving a person who wronged me in word and deed, causing me psychological and moral harm, and who is being prosecuted, affect the acceptance of my Hajj and diminish its reward?

Islam has protected the honor of the Muslim and forbidden its violation without right, based on the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) saying: "Every Muslim's blood, wealth, and honor are sacred to another Muslim." And his saying: "A Muslim is one from whose tongue and hand other Muslims are safe." Violating honor through slander and harm is a heinous sin and one of the major sins, based on his (peace be upon him) saying: "Avoid the seven destructive sins… and slandering chaste, unsuspecting, believing women." The believer has greater sanctity in the sight of Allah than the Kaaba. Forgiving the man mentioned is not obligatory, but forgiveness and pardon are preferable due to the great reward therein. Not forgiving does not prevent the acceptance of the Hajj nor does it diminish the reward. The acceptance of acts of worship is a matter of the unseen, hoped for from Allah after perfecting them and performing them with sincerity.
