Is a wife considered disobedient (nashiz) if she habitually raises her voice and insults her husband by saying, "You liar," despite his knowledge that he is not lying? Are these words forbidden for her, just as "Uff" was forbidden towards parents? And how should a husband deal with an ill-tempered, ill-mannered wife who poorly raises his children, if divorce would harm him?

A wife's insulting her husband and using abusive language towards him does not constitute nushuz (rebellion), but she incurs sin thereby and deserves discipline, as mentioned by An-Nawawi. As for a wife saying "uff" (an expression of annoyance or disdain) to her husband without a valid reason, it is a bad statement, but it is not on the same level as saying it to one's parents.
