Is zakat obligatory on a sum of 130,000 Riyals that was invested in shares for one year and incurred a loss, and what is the amount of zakat due on it?

Some shares are subject to Zakat on their value and profit if they were bought with the intention of trade, or if the company's activity is based on buying and selling. In this case, they are assessed at the completion of a year, and a quarter of a tenth (2.5%) of the total wealth (principal and profit) is given as Zakat. As for shares on whose value Zakat is not obligatory, Zakat is due on their income if it reaches the nisab and a year has passed over it, by combining it with other wealth, and a quarter of a tenth is given from it.
