What is the ruling on boycotting Chinese products, and does that include the prohibition of their use? And what about American products, especially since most available devices are Chinese-made?

If a fatwa is issued obligating the boycott of a certain country's products, this applies to purchasing from it after the fatwa is issued. However, there is no harm in benefiting from what was purchased before it.
