Is it permissible to obtain a loan from an orphan fund to purchase a car?

We have no knowledge of the reality of the aforementioned fund, but a loan has two cases: The first is that it is a good loan with no interest, in which case there is no objection. The second is that it involves interest, even if minimal, in which case it is impermissible, as it falls under usury (riba). Usury is among the major sins. Severe warnings against this grave sin have been mentioned in the Quran and Sunnah, such as His (Allah's) saying: ﴿O you who have believed, fear Allah and give up what remains [due to you] of usury, if you should be believers. And if you do not, then be informed of a war [against you] from Allah and His Messenger. But if you repent, you may have your principal – [thus] you do no wrong, nor are you wronged.﴾ And His (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: “Usury has seventy-three doors, the easiest of which is like a man marrying his mother.” And his saying: “A single dirham of usury that a man consumes knowingly is more severe in Allah’s sight than thirty-six acts of fornication.”
