Is it permissible to use the price of a gold ring found with the intention of donating it to charity for the purpose of performing Umrah?

It is impermissible to benefit from a found ring, nor to donate it or its price, unless it has been publicized for an entire Hijri year in the place where it was found. If a year passes and its owner is not found, it is more cautious not to take ownership of it but rather to donate it. As for 'Umrah (definition), it is not obligatory for you if you are unable to perform it with your own money. However, if you have publicized the ring for a full year, it has entered into your possession, and you may benefit from it.
