Is the feeling of losing one's mother and her absence an objection to Allah's decree?
The questioner is advised to be patient and to have faith in divine decree and destiny. This world is a transient abode, and death is a certainty, as stated in the noble verses: (O mankind, indeed you are toiling toward your Lord with [great] toil and will meet Him) Al-Inshiqaq/6, and (Every soul will taste death) Al-Imran/185. Whoever believes in this, Allah guides his heart, so he finds tranquility during calamities, as in His (the Most High) saying: (And whoever believes in Allah - He will guide his heart) At-Taghabun/11. A believer must guard his tongue from objection or discontent when afflicted, for Allah does not punish for the tears of the eye or the grief of the heart, but rather for the tongue.
