Is it forbidden to refuse marriage in this life while wishing to marry Yusuf (Joseph), peace be upon him, in the Afterlife?

What is prescribed for Muslim men and women is marriage, for it protects one’s private parts, lowers one’s gaze, and increases progeny and the Muslim community, as Allah Almighty says: "And marry the unmarried among you and the righteous among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing." And as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "O young men, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so, for it helps him lower his gaze and guard his modesty. And whoever is not able to marry, let him fast, for it will be a shield for him." Remaining unmarried poses a great danger, and it is not appropriate for a young man or woman who is able to delay marriage, unless there is a legitimate excuse that prevents marriage. If marriage is refused due to a legitimate excuse, there is no blame in it. Otherwise, it is severely disliked for contravening the Sunnah, and may even reach the level of being forbidden if one fears falling into indecency. As for wishing for one's spouse in the Hereafter to be Prophet Yusuf (Joseph), peace be upon him, there is nothing to prevent that.
