Is it permissible to participate in charitable activities or activities that draw one closer to God without the father's knowledge if he rejects them without a reason?

Disobeying parents in matters that are not righteous acts (ma'ruf) does not constitute disobedience to parents ( 'uquq al-walidayn), based on the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Verily, obedience is only in what is righteous." So, if the activities you are involved in are acts of goodness and proximity [to Allah], free from শরিয়াহ violations, if security is stable in your area, if your participation does not harm your father, and if your father has not presented a legally valid objection, then there is no blame upon you for engaging in these activities without his knowledge. Among the evidences for the permissibility of women participating in charitable works is that this falls under the category of collective obligations (fard kifaya).
