What is the ruling on a husband's shortcoming in sexually satisfying his wife, and is the solution patience, or does she have a legitimate right that the husband must fulfill?

Sexual intimacy is one of the greatest rights a wife has over her husband, and it is his duty to ensure her chastity. If a woman is harmed by her husband's failure to maintain her chastity, she has the right to seek divorce and refer her case to the judiciary to alleviate the harm. However, patience in remaining married is not always required, as divorce may not always be the most beneficial option. As for the statement that a woman is not blameworthy for committing adultery due to her husband's negligence, this is a claim that is neither supported by Islamic law nor by reason, due to the immense corruption, defilement of honor, and damage to family reputation that would result, in addition to the prohibition of indecencies. Marriage is one of Allah's signs, characterized by affection and mercy, and it is not confined to a single aspect. Homes may not be built on love alone, but also on companionship with consideration and submission to Islam.
