They clarified that "that which no eye has seen and no ear has heard" means that none of creation has had full knowledge of the complete bliss of Paradise, and that what Allah has prepared therein is so majestic and immense that the mind cannot grasp it.

Regarding Gabriel's vision of Paradise, the answer is that Allah created many things therein after Gabriel saw it, things that Gabriel did not become aware of, or that the intended eyes and ears are those of humans, or that the bliss in Paradise is continuously renewed.
