What is the ruling on continuing a relationship with a married man who wishes to marry without divorcing his wife, given the feeling that this is a sin and an offense against his wife, and how can one break free from this relationship to please Allah?

The relationship with the man must be severed immediately, and you must repent to Allah. If marriage to him becomes possible with the family's consent, that is better, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Nothing is seen for two who love each other like marriage." Otherwise, the relationship must be cut off, for its continuation is a gradual enticement by Satan towards immorality. You must stay away from sins and increase your remembrance of Allah and prayer, for prayer restrains from indecency and evil, and the remembrance of Allah is greater. Increase your study of books of encouragement and deterrence, the biographies of the Salaf, and reflect on the horrors of the Day of Judgment and the graves, for knowledge of their states suppresses desires. Seek righteous companionship and avoid mixed environments.
