Imam Ahmad and Al-Hakim narrated from Abu Hurairah that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said about Al-Walid: "You have named him with the names of your pharaohs. There will be a man in this nation called Al-Walid, who will be more evil to this nation than Pharaoh was to his people." Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar graded the as (good), and Al-Dhahabi concurred with him.
