Does a husband owe blood money (Diyya) for his deceased wife if he was responsible for her death, and what is its value and how is it disbursed, and is it distributed among the heirs or is it given entirely as charity?

If blood money (Diyyah) becomes obligatory, the husband does not inherit from it. Instead, it is distributed among the other heirs: the daughters receive two-thirds, and each of the parents receives one-sixth. The full brothers (ashqāʾ) do not inherit anything as they are excluded by the father. It is advisable to refer inheritance matters to the Sharia courts for investigation into the heirs, wills, and debts, as these take precedence over the heirs' rights.
