Does an absent divorce necessarily count as a revocable divorce, or does the husband have the option to make it irrevocable or revocable?

The ruling on divorce does not differ whether the wife is absent or present. A revocable divorce is the first or second divorce for a wife with whom cohabitation has occurred. The husband is not compelled for the divorce to be irrevocable or revocable unless the judge sees a benefit in that. A revocable divorce is one where the husband has the right to take his wife back. However, after the third divorce, she is not lawful for him until she marries another husband.
