What should a wife do with her husband who does not follow the Fitra in shaving the pubic hair and plucking the armpit hair, claiming skin inflammations, while she fears sin for him and cannot advise him?

Plucking the armpit hair and shaving the pubic hair is a Sunnah according to the majority of scholars, and there is no sin incurred upon the one who neglects it. However, some scholars view it as obligatory. If the husband suffers from inflammations that prevent him from plucking or shaving, he can use scissors to remove excess hair, because cutting serves the same purpose as shaving and plucking in fulfilling the Sunnah. Ahmad was asked about removing pubic hair with scissors and he said: "I hope it will be sufficient." This can be explained to the husband in a gentle manner.
