Is a woman committing a sin if she does not ask about the intention of her husband who uttered an ambiguous divorce statement (kinayah), knowing that asking about his intention increases his doubts?

There is no sin upon the wife if she does not ask her husband what he intended by the words of divorce by insinuation, and she is not obliged to ask him about his intention, as that involves hardship and excessive meticulousness. Furthermore, the husband knows best his intention, and his statement is given precedence in case of dispute. Any sin that occurs is upon him, and Allah is aware of his intention and will hold him accountable for it. It is advised to disregard whispers and not pay attention to them.
