Is marriage and divorce predestined?

Marriage and divorce are divine decrees and destiny from Allah. We are commanded to take the means that bring about what Allah loves and avoid what He dislikes. If we do so, we will have fulfilled our obligation, and all results are in Allah's hands and His decree, in affirmation of His (the Almighty’s) saying: "Indeed, We have created all things with a [precise] measure" and "And He created everything and determined it with [precise] determination." One must take the means that bring about benefits, such as marriage, and avoid the means that bring about corruption, such as divorce without a valid reason, so that divine decree and destiny are not used as an excuse for prohibitions.
