How can one get rid of strong inclinations towards men, which reach the extent of touching, while maintaining religious commitment and acts of worship, and feeling deficient despite continuous attempts such as wearing the niqab?

There is no blame for mere emotional inclination towards males, as long as it does not lead to something forbidden. However, physical actions such as shaking hands, touching, and embracing are overt transgressions that necessitate repentance. Excessive inclination is blameworthy, and overcoming it is easy for anyone whose desire to draw closer to Allah is sincere. Beware of the devil's despair. Repentance from these sins is easy and accepted, even if the sin is repeated. Seek Allah's help and strive to remain steadfast, and hasten to repent when falling into sin. Keep company with righteous women, listen to admonitions, and increase your remembrance of Allah and your supplications to Him.
