What is the ruling on reading the Qur’an for the deceased on the second day of his burial at the time of Fajr, which is called "Fakk al-Wahshah" (Dispelling the Loneliness)?

We have previously clarified that the correct view is that the reward of recitation reaches the deceased. However, singling out the second day for reciting upon the deceased has not been transmitted from the Prophet (peace be upon him), nor from any of his Companions, nor from the followed Imams. And whoever performs a deed that is not in accordance with our command, it will be rejected. The scholars have considered it an innovation to commit to acts of worship at times not specified by the Sharia.
