Is it permissible for a resident in Saudi Arabia to partner with his sponsor in a commercial shop, or to open a private business for himself through the sponsor, without compensation?

The fundamental principle regarding transactions is permissibility until there is evidence of prohibition. However, if there is a system in place in the country that prohibits certain types of permissible transactions, and there is a clear and general benefit for people in this prohibition, then it is obligatory to adhere to it. But if there is no general benefit in the prohibition, then one must outwardly commit to it for fear of harm and discord, while it is permissible to inwardly contravene it when such fears are absent.
