Does supplicating for the removal of affliction contradict patience and contentment, especially when feeling embarrassed before God to ask for the removal of affliction?

Supplicating for the removal of affliction does not contradict patience, as was done by the Prophets of Allah, Jacob and Job, peace be upon them. Allah described them as patient, yet they supplicated for its removal. As for contentment (Al-Rida), it is a station above patience and is commendable, not obligatory. It is not negated by sadness over affliction, nor does it conflict with supplicating for its removal. Therefore, patience is required without discontent or despair, while it is permissible to supplicate for the removal of affliction and to ask for well-being.
