If the soap has a scent like mint or similar, and it is not considered perfume, then there is no effect if it gets on one's clothes while in a state of . However, if it is perfume, and the woman is unaware that it is perfume, then there is nothing upon her. If she knows, then nothing is required of her merely by it getting on her clothes, but she must remove it. If she is unable to remove it, then there is nothing upon her. Otherwise, the (expiation) becomes obligatory: fasting for three days, or feeding six needy persons, or slaughtering a sheep.
