What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding female heirs' refusal of the Sharia-compliant division and their demand for equality with males in inheritance?

He who is content with Allah as his Lord, Islam as his religion, and Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) as his Prophet and Messenger, must be content with the judgment of Allah and His Messenger in all his affairs, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "It is not for a believing man or a believing woman, when Allah and His Messenger have decided a matter, that they should have [any] choice in their decision." Allah, the Almighty, has Himself detailed the division of inheritance in His Noble Book, ordaining for the male a share equal to that of two females, and clarifying that these are "the limits [set by] Allah." Therefore, Muslims must follow the law of Allah in dividing inheritance and not cling to the laws of disbelievers, because the increase in the share of sons over daughters was legislated for great wisdom. Allah has warned against following the rule of Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance), as He says: "Then is it the judgment of [the time of] ignorance they desire? And who is better than Allah in judgment for a people who are certain [in faith]," and His saying: "But no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission."
