Is there any mention of those afflicted with leprosy in the Holy Quran or the Prophetic Sunnah?

We ask Allah to cure you, and know that illnesses are expiations for sins, as the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "No fatigue, nor illness, nor anxiety, nor sorrow, nor harm, nor distress befalls a Muslim, even a thorn that pricks him, but Allah expiates some of his sins thereby." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to seek refuge from leprosy, madness, elephantiasis, and from evil diseases, because they are chronic illnesses that leave a mark on the body and cause people to shun the afflicted.
