What is the ruling on one who experiences a ritual impurity during a supererogatory recommended prayer, should he perform ablution and repeat the prayer?

Whoever has a ritual impurity during prayer, their prayer becomes invalid, and they must leave it, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Allah does not accept prayer without purification." They are not required to make up a supererogatory prayer after performing ablution if the impurity was not intentional, and similarly if it was intentional, according to most scholars, except that the Malikis obligated making it up.
