Has God obligated us to ponder specific matters to the exclusion of others?

Contemplation is a great act of worship and a noble act of obedience, and many Quranic verses have urged it. Obligatory contemplation: This is what leads to faith in God and His power, and that He is the Creator and Disposer, and removes doubt in that. God condemned the polytheists for their heedlessness and lack of contemplation. Recommended contemplation: Whatever exceeds that, and it is one of the greatest acts of worship. Permissible areas of contemplation: God's legislative verses (the Qur'an). God's cosmic verses (His creations that indicate the beauty of His handiwork). The names and attributes of the Lord. Matters of the Hereafter, Paradise, and Hellfire, and everything that increases faith and enlivens the heart. Forbidden contemplation: Contemplating the essence of God and the modality of His attributes. Contemplating desires and forbidden things, and these thoughts must be fought because they are the beginning of disobedience. Al-Hafiz Ibn Kathir mentioned great effects regarding the virtue of contemplation, among them: Contemplating the creation of the heavens and the earth indicates the greatness of the Creator and His power. "An hour of contemplation is better than a night of prayer" (Al-Hasan Al-Basri). Thought is a mirror that shows you your good deeds and bad deeds, and a light that enters the heart. Lengthy solitude leads to thought, and lengthy thought indicates the path to Paradise. Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz: "Speaking in remembrance of God Almighty is good, and contemplation on God's blessings is the best act of worship." God condemned those who do not consider His creations and praised the contemplating believers.
