The question is: What is the worship of contemplation and how is it performed?

Islam has encouraged the use of intellect in what benefits a person in their religion and their worldly life. Contemplation of God's power and His creations is among the greatest acts of worship that increase faith. However, reflection should not be on the essence of God Almighty, but rather on His blessings and creations. The early scholars (Salaf) encouraged contemplation and considered it one of the greatest acts of worship. It was reported from some of them that an hour of contemplation is better than a night of prayer, and that it is the mirror of a believer, in which they look at their good deeds and bad deeds, and the fears of the Hereafter.
