How can a person repent when they feel "blind of heart" and unable to respond to religion and abstain from sins, despite knowing the consequences of their actions and Allah's ruling on them?

The cure for a constricted life lies in: Sincere repentance and regret for shortcomings, occupying one's time with obedience to Allah and frequent remembrance of Him, blocking avenues leading to indecencies by lowering the gaze and avoiding provocations, marriage as a remedy for sexual problems, frequent supplication and seeking refuge in Allah, and visiting graves to remember death. It is also imperative to refrain from spying on parents and the impermissibility of seeking out the private faults of Muslims.
