How can a young man return to righteousness, guidance, and repentance after having drifted away from prayer and worship and fallen into sins, despite his attempts and supplications? And what is the solution for confronting the hardness of heart and the financial pressures he is suffering from?

The path to righteousness, steadfastness in religion, and repentance from sins is through seeking Allah's help, acting upon His Book, following the Sunnah of His Prophet (peace be upon him), accompanying righteous people, and avoiding bad company. Indeed, turning away from Allah and committing sins leads to misery, as Allah Almighty says: ﴿And whoever turns away from My remembrance - indeed, he will have a difficult life.﴾ Therefore, it is advised to hasten to repentance with its conditions: regret, resolve not to return [to the sin], and immediate cessation, for Allah accepts repentance from His servants as long as the soul has not reached the throat.
