The answer

Whoever has been negligent in prayer after puberty must make up for it according to the majority of scholars. If he does not know the first prayer that became obligatory upon him, he should start with Dhuhr and continue making up prayers until he is certain that his obligation has been fulfilled. As for whoever menstruated after the time for prayer had begun, scholars differ regarding making up that prayer, but the more cautious opinion is that it is obligatory to make it up. According to the Shafi’is, there is no obligation to observe sequence between missed prayers whatsoever, and there is no obligation to make up a prayer missed due to an excuse immediately.
