What is the ruling on drawing and depicting the Divine Self, and the ruling on drawing and depicting the Messenger, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, and what is the ruling on satirical caricature of the Noble Messenger?

Depicting and illustrating the Divine Self is a heinous act of disbelief and a vile lie, because it involves anthropomorphizing and corporealizing Allah Almighty, and speaking about Him without knowledge. Allah Almighty has no peer, no equal, and no resemblance, and He is beyond what any mind can conceive.

As for drawing, illustrating, and impersonating the Prophet, peace be upon him, it is forbidden by the consensus of contemporary Islamic scholars, due to the falsehood involved, the harm inflicted upon him, and the tarnishing of his image in the eyes of viewers.

Mocking the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, is explicit disbelief and clear apostasy.
