What is the wisdom behind the impermissibility of portraying the character of the Messenger, may Allah’s prayers and peace be upon him, and are there conditions for its permissibility?

It is not permissible to portray the personalities of the Prophets in general, and Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, is the foremost among them in terms of prohibition. This prohibition is absolute, without conditions.
