Is the statement "His knowledge of my condition suffices, obviating my need to ask" sound, in that it means there is no need for supplication (du'a)?

The saying "My knowledge of my condition suffices Me from asking" is a false statement, contrary to faith in divine decree (qadar), and an obstruction to taking means, as well as an abandonment of a great act of worship, which is supplication (du'a). Supplication averts divine decree, lifts affliction, and benefits against what has descended and what has not descended. The Prophet, peace be upon him, encouraged supplication and clarified its فضله (virtue/excellence). Scholars have pointed out the invalidity of this statement, as it has no basis, and contradicts what has been reported from the Prophets regarding their supplications and asking Allah. It is a major deviation.
