Is this Hadith authentic: “My knowledge of my condition is sufficient for my questioning”?

The words attributed to Abraham (peace be upon him), "My knowledge of my condition suffices me from my asking," when he was cast into the fire, have no basis and are false. Al-Baghawi pointed to their weakness, and Shaykh al-Islam clarified that they have no known chain of narration. Rather, what is authentically established in the Sahih from Ibn Abbas is that he said: "Allah is sufficient for us, and [He is] the best Disposer of affairs." Furthermore, this statement contradicts what Allah mentioned about the prophets' supplications and their asking their Lord, and it contradicts Allah's command to His servants to supplicate, because supplication is a great act of worship. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Supplication is worship." Therefore, the statement that "your asking of Him is an accusation against Him" is a great error, and these words attributed to Abraham (peace be upon him) would not be uttered by a Muslim who knows the status of supplication in Islam.
