The answer

Practicing magic, dealing with it, or seeking it from a sorcerer are major sins, and can even amount to disbelief in Allah Almighty. Allah the Almighty says regarding the sorcerer: "And the sorcerer will not succeed wherever he goes" [Taha: 69], and "And already they knew that whoever bought it would have no share in the Hereafter" [Al-Baqarah: 102]. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also warned against magic, mentioning it as one of the seven destructive sins, and disavowed anyone who practiced magic or had magic performed for them. Therefore, whoever approves of that and follows it is like the one who performs it. Although the woman's act of practicing magic is a grave sin, the husband's remaining with her and cohabiting with her does not carry the ruling of adultery.
