Is attending the funeral prayer for deceased employees or their relatives among the recommended acts, or is it impermissible?

It is permissible for women to go to the mosque to pray over the deceased, as funeral prayer has been legislated for both men and women. Women used to pray over the deceased in the Prophet's mosque (peace be upon him), but they are not permitted to follow funeral processions to the graveyard, nor to visit graves.
