Is there not a contradiction between the Prophet’s (PBUH) saying, “I was sent, and the Hour is like these two,” and the passing of 1400 years since his prophethood, and the interpretation that the nearness of the Hour applies to others, or that a day with Allah is like a thousand years? And does the hadith “I and the guarantor of the orphan are like these two” contradict Ibn Hajar’s interpretation? And do Allah’s ability to send down rain and His knowledge of what is in the wombs contradict modern rainmaking and knowing the gender of the fetus, especially since the reason for the revelation of the verse “Indeed, Allah [alone] has knowledge of the Hour and sends down rain and knows what is in the wombs” was the Bedouins' question about the gender of the fetus? And how can cloning, which may dispense with a man’s semen in determining the gender of the fetus, be reconciled with Allah’s saying, “And made from him two mates, the male and female,” and “And He makes whom He wills barren”?
